Dynamic two-part event hosted by the British High Commission Singapore, designed to foster UK-Singapore collaboration and networking opportunities. The event kicks off with an Investor/Delegation Roundtable, where investors will engage in a reverse pitching session, followed by UK companies presenting their innovative solutions in a series of brief pitches. The SIAW 2024 Welcome Reception is an exclusive, invite-only networking event that kicks off Singapore International Agri-Food Week 2024. Our end-to-end contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) services enable and empower global food tech start-ups to deliver sustainable food solutions and ingredients using submerged microbial fermentation, through a commercial-centric and solutions-oriented value chain.
We support them throughout their entire journey, from process optimisation to scale-up, leveraging our state-of-the-art, dedicated food-grade facilities capable of providing up to 10,000 L bioreactors. CREMER Sustainable Foods (CSF), a joint venture between Nurasa and CREMER, offers contract development and manufacturing organisational (CDMO) capabilities for plant-based alternative proteins. We are one of the few OEM manufacturers of alternative proteins in Asia.
Our 1,000+ sqm manufacturing facility produces 1,500 tonnes of plant-based products annually. CSF aims to support companies in scaling production to commercial scale. We utilise high-moisture extrusion (HME) technology that allows for the texture of plant-based products to more closely resemble that of animal meat.
Givaudan’s Taste & Colour Lab, located at Nurasa’s Food Tech Innovation Centre, stands as a cornerstone of our commitment to revolutionising plant-based food innovation. Recognising the crucial roles of taste and colour in consumer preferences, especially within plant-based products, this collaboration empowers start-ups to taste, test, and refine flavours and colours under expert guidance.
The lab supports start-ups by providing access to a comprehensive library of flavour and colour collections, including taste-masking technologies, fat/salt reduction solutions, and clean label alternatives. It also serves as a facility for prototyping, co-creation, and evaluation during the product development phase. By leveraging Givaudan’s extensive consumer insights, we collaborate with companies to develop solutions that deliver multi-sensorial food experiences preferred by consumers.
TiNDLE is a leading maker of plant-based foods and beverages globally. Our journey began with ridiculously good chicken made from plants first launched in the Singapore market in early 2021. TiNDLE has since expanded its offerings to include other plant-based products including sausages and non-dairy, with more to come in our innovation pipeline. Our products are available in food service in many countries globally, and we are in retail in the US, Germany, UK and Switzerland. TiNDLE has its headquarters in Singapore, and its Global Innovation Centre is located here in Nurasa’s Food Tech Innovation Centre.

At Nurasa’s FTIC, Nourish Ingredients has set-up its Product Development Centre (PDC), which serves as a strategic and centralised pilot scale production entity, rapidly scaling Nourish Ingredients Tastilux™ product, while formalising strategic partnerships, commercial manufacturing routes, and deregulation. The PDC will receive both upstream and downstream support from other partners within the Singapore ecosystem to accelerate go-to-market.

Xiuling Guo is a distinguished leader in the food industry, with over two decades of experience in the global ingredients and quick service restaurant (QSR) sectors.
She was most recently the Managing Director of Cargill’s Global Edible Oil Solutions Business in Asia, where she oversaw over 55 markets across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining Cargill, she served as the Supply Chain Director at Yum!, where she supported the business’ expansion plans in China.
With a passion for creating positive impact, Xiuling currently works with her alma mater, Tongji University, as the Founding Partner and Industry Advisor to its accelerator programme. The programme aims to solve global sustainability challenges by connecting top-tier scientific minds, entrepreneurs, early-stage investors and global corporations.
