Corporate Development Manager

Laurent Brighel brings over 20 years of expertise in corporate development, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions, with a strong track record of driving growth and innovation across global markets. He has deep experience in agri-commodities, food ingredients, and bio-energy.

Previously, as Group Deputy Head of Strategy at Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) in Singapore, Laurent led transformative corporate transactions, shaped sustainability strategies, and incubated new business units. His leadership was instrumental in structuring LDC’s energy transition initiatives, expanding its food ingredients division, and formulating its long-term corporate strategy.

Laurent holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master in Large Projects Management, both earned with honors. Fluent in French and English, he is passionate about contemporary Southeast Asian art, trail running, and swimming.

Outside of work, he finds joy in the kitchen, perfecting his craft as an avid baker.
